Friday, February 5th 2016, 1:30pm at the Tunnels Checkpoint
This coming Friday and on the first Friday of every month, Israelis and Palestinians will hold a joint march against the occupation and for peace, independence and justice for both people
After a difficult period of violence, fear and sliding backwards – we will march together, Arabs and Jews, Israelis and Palestinians, to show that there is another possible reality: the reality of hope instead of fear, of partnership rather than hate, of peace and independence rather than occupation.
We invite you to board the buses leaving from around Israel and Palestine and to be present in a non-violent demonstration, with the message: Freedom from domination and oppression for Palestinians, freedom from fear for Israelis and freedom from the occupation for all of us.
The march will start from the Batteer village roundabout adjacent to road 60 at 1:30 pm and will end at the Tunnels Checkpoint
The demonstration is organized by Combatants for Peace in collaboration with Standing Together.
Buses will leave from Jerusalem (Liberty Bell Park parking lot) at 12:30 and from Tel Aviv (Arlozorov train station) at 12:00.
