25 year anniversary of Women in Black, October 7th – 10th, 2016

October 9th 1991 the first time that we stood on the streets of Belgrade – we began our peaceful resistance to war and the Serbian political regime. We are still on the streets…
25 years we have been building our active politics, which is peaceful and non-violent, and based on solidarity, feminism, pacifism/antimilitarism, antifascism, antihomophobia, alter globalization…

18:00 - 18:30 – Always Disobedient – On the Same Task – Opening of the Belgrade Women in Black exhibition, Multimedia Centre Led, art/Ark Klinika

18:30 – 19:00 – Personal/Political/International... scenic action and video presentation performed by WiB activists and the artist-activist collectives Skart and Dah Theatre

19:00 – 20:30 – Women’s Court – Feminist Approach to Justice (52 minutes), promotion of the documentary film directed by Filip Markovinović, WiB production (2016) about Women’s Court (WC) held in Sarajevo, May 7th – 10th 2015. The screening will be followed by a discussion , with the participation of WC witnesses, the International Judicial Council, WC associates, organizers, activists…
