New York Post: ‘Vote for the one you dislike least’
Never one to play it subtle, the New York Post’s cover ( see here) captured the feelings of many voters on their way to the polls today. It wasn’t enough for the cover model to frown and glare — she also had to hold her nose to avoid the pungent odor of high stakes presidential politics.
After months of email scandals and insult-laden Twitter feeds, the bitter presidential campaign has frustrated many voters, but early results suggest civic enthusiasm remains intact. In Florida, a key swing state, voter turnout among African Americans and Hispanic surged in recent days, according to Agence France Presse.
