As Bhanu Pratap Mehta has put in a powerful piece in today’s Indian Express, May the Silent be Damned. Despite the feeling of numbing helplessness that is gripping all of us today, we must come out and protest, express our anguish, appeal to the conscience of our people . . . And so, we are organsing a SILENT PROTEST MARCH against the killings of Junaid Khan, Mohammad Akhlaq, Pehlu Khan, Zahid Rasool Bhat, Ayub Pandit, and so many others. Sometimes, the very act of coming out on the streets is more powerful than a thousand slogans, and so we are adopting this form of protest, a SILENT MARCH, with black flags.

Do join us, on this Thursday, in this Siient Protest March from Ambedkar Putla near the Collectorate (opposite Sassoon Hospital) to Gandhi Putla near the Pune Railway Station.
