In conjunction with International Safe Abortion Day,
Association for Women’s Rights in Development, the Sexual Rights Initiative, the Centre for Reproductive Rights and the Observatory on the Universality of Rights (OURs) are pleased to invite you to ‘Access to safe and legal abortion: Highlighting Feminist Resistance,’ a parallel event for the 51st Session of the Human Rights Council.
Date: Thurs, September 29, 2:00 - 3:00 PM CEST
It will highlight key achievements in legislation and practices brought about by feminist organizing and activism, and unpack related strategies, challenges and opportunities nationally and in UN policy spaces.
