Press Release
Interfaith Forum COVA condemns terrorist attack on Churches in Lahore.
Interfaith Forum COVA is shocked over the most violent terrorist strike by two suicide bombers at two Christian churches in the country’s cultural heart of Lahore during the Sunday mass on 15th March 2015. We condemn in strongest possible terms the unspeakable terror attacks and barbarity against innocent people and against humanity.
Our Hearts go out to the bereaved families who have lost their loved ones in these ghastly attacks. We extend our deepest sympathies, prayers and condolences to the families of the victims of terror attack.
We urge to the government of Pakistan to bring the perpetrators to justice without delay and eliminate terrorism with iron hand. We demand that the government of Pakistan to immediately ban and eliminate all terrorist organizations and provide security and protection to people especially to the Religious minorities in Pakistan.
All religions and their places of worship are equally respectable for us. We appeal to people to come forward with a resolve to work harder to combat extremism and terrorism and to promote peace and stability in the world.
