  Waleed Al-Husseini reprend la plume pour exprimer son inquiétude et sa colère face à l’intégrisme qui monte au pays des Lumières. Condamné pour athéisme par son pays d’origine, c’est en France, pays de la libre expression (!) qu’il a trouvé refuge après avoir quitté les siens, à la fois pour sa propre sécurité et pour la leur. Son second opus « Une Trahison française », à paraître le 30 mars, est un cri de colère contre les accommodements avec l’islamisme politique.

  Ayaz Nizami and Rana Noman, two Pakistani atheists, were arrested last week on charges of blasphemy — because of things they posted on the Atheist & Agnostic Alliance Pakistan Facebook group and an online forum for the Council of Ex-Muslims of Britain. Critics of Islam (and religion as a whole) dared to state their beliefs publicly, and both hard-line Muslims and government officials believe they should be arrested, jailed, or executed for it. So much for being a religion of peace. More Muslim leaders in those countries have to speak out in defense of the critics or these actions will continue. Governments around the world must repeal their blasphemy laws in defense of free speech. No one deserves to be physically harmed for anything they say or think.

  Police said Farook’s refusal to shut down the atheist WhatsApp group he ran for like-minded Muslims across various districts of Tamil Nadu and his visible stand in the social media declaring his decision to raise his children as atheists had angered the suspects.

Atheist H Farook’s killing at Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu) is another sacrifice at the altar of religious bigotry. Indian sub-continent is becoming the most dangerous zone in the world for scientific minded persons who naturally become atheist. Notably Hindutva organization which miss no opportunity to condemn ‘Islamic terrorism’ are in deep slumber on this killing.

  L’AAAP est la première organisation des athées et agnostiques pakistanais. Le principal objectif de cette organisation est d’apporter du soutien aux gens et de leur donner une plate-forme pour parler et échanger leurs idées.
  Les gens en ont besoin car il est interdit au Pakistan de s’exprimer ouvertement contre la religion. Il n’y a même pas la liberté de pouvoir en parler en famille.

  Il est très difficile de donner un chiffre car l’athéisme se développe sur les sites de réseaux sociaux, particulièrement Facebook, du fait du risque associé au fait de proclamer son athéisme en public. Pour faire une estimation, je dirais qu’il y a environ 300 000 athées arabophones , avec environ 5000 athées actifs dans les discussions et qui sont de ce fait exposés directement.

  The number of people who say they are non-religious in Great Britain has risen by 46% in seven years. In these circumstances it’s untenable to have a state church with representatives entitled to sit in the legislature. “The government should take note and reconsider the opportunities which religious groups are given to impose their views in our public life. The UK should move towards the disestablishment of the Church of England, scrap the bishops’ bench in the House of Lords and roll back religious groups’ role in state education.”

  Alors qu’un apologiste de l’islam comme Tariq Ramadan, avait, avant sa disgrâce, libre accès à tous les plateaux de télévision de France, combien de critiques de la religion arabes ou originaires d’un pays musulman non arabe ont eu accès aux médias ? Pire encore : qui, dans le grand public en suspecterait même l’existence ? L’athéisme et la critique de la religion existent aussi dans les pays musulmans (arabes et non arabes). Des publications, des sites internet en attestent tous les jours. Ils restent, hélas !, peu connus du grand public français.
