Religious persecution in Pakistan
23 March 2014, by siawi3Blaise Pascal observed that “men never do evil so completely and cheerfully as when they do it for religious conviction†. His words could apply to Muslim-killing Hindus of Gujarat, 2002. Or to today’s Pakistan, where your religious affiliation—whether by birth or conviction—can land you in your grave. The 19th section of the Pakistani Constitution says that freedom of speech and expression are “subject to any reasonable restrictions imposed by law in the interest of the glory of Islam†.
