The aim is to have 10,000 women riding their bikes in Sindh by Women’s Day on March 8. “Women on Wheels is not just a trend, it is a way to see women enter practical life by getting jobs.” Females riding motorbikes on the road is a powerful statement. “Having more women riding bikes on the road can change mindsets and perception. It can change the entire narrative. Female representation is important for the country to grow. Mobility can give lots of women independence,”

Sri Lanka: Progressive decisions by Cabinet on substantive Muslim marriage law reform hailed
2 August 2021, by siawi3Comprehensive MMDA reform is long overdue. We wholeheartedly welcome these four decisions and reiterate that these decisions will ensure that women are not discriminated against or excluded. Lived experiences of Muslim women reveal serious problems, with women being denied fair treatment and discriminated in a multitude of ways. We have consistently raised demands that Muslim women must have equal and fair treatment.
