Forced conversions? Lynching by enraged mobs? Having to curse another religion’s founder prior to applying for a Pakistani passport? Discrimination is built into our laws: Pakistan’s Constitution explicitly excludes non-Muslims from full citizenship. For multiple reasons every human rights listing puts Pakistan close to the bottom.

These new rules apply equally to expatriates (88 per cent) and UAE citizens (12pc), the latter being mostly Sunni Muslims.

  Le Collectif contre l’islamophobie en France (CCIF) a annoncé vendredi 27 novembre sur son site internet s’être auto-dissous et avoir redéployé des activités à l’étranger, face à la menace de sa prochaine dissolution par le gouvernement. Le ministre de l’Intérieur Gérald Darmanin avait annoncé la semaine dernière avoir notifié à ses responsables la dissolution du CCIF, qu’il a accusé, après l’assassinat de Samuel Paty, d’être une « officine islamiste œuvrant contre la République ».

At the moment, they have exacerbated violence and intimidation to capture Kandahar, the capital for the hard-line movement nearly a quarter-century ago. Hundreds of insurgents, civilians, and soldiers are believed to have been killed while thousands of villagers have been displaced as a sequel to fighting around the city of Kandahar, capital of one of the key provinces of land-locked country.
