All the VIDEOS

Friday 4 August 2017, by siawi3

The July 2017 International Conference on Freedom of Expression and Conscience was a truly historic event, a conference of heroes and the largest gathering of ex-Muslims in history.

Video footage of all the discussions, speeches and acts are now available, including speeches by Bangladeshi freethinker Bonya Ahmed; American Atheists President Dave Silverman; Activist and Author Djemila Benhabib; FEMEN Leader Inna Shevchenko; and Moroccan-born French Writer Zineb El Rhazoui.

You can also now watch the moving public art protest led by the award winning body painter Victoria Gugenheim and hard-hitting panel discussions on Islam’s nonbelievers; blasphemy and Islamophobia; identity politics; Laicite; women’s rights; out, loud and proud and art as resistance. There is also music by Shelley Segal and the London Humanist Choir as well as an unforgettable performance by the “mullah-lifting” artist Shabana Rehman.

Also available is footage of the emotional Council of Ex-Muslims of Britain’s award ceremony - 10 awards for 10 years of being in existence, namely to Bangladeshi freethinker Bonya Ahmed, Saudi freethinkers Ensaf Haidar and Raif Badawi, Moroccan atheist Zineb El Rhazoui, Filmmaker Deeyah Khan, Philosopher AC Grayling, Centre for Secular Space’s Gita Sahgal and Yasmin Rehman, Algerian Sociologist Marieme Helie Lucas, Jordanian Atheists’ Founder Mohammad AlKhadra, Egyptian Atheist Founder of The Black Ducks Ismail Mohamed and Author and Scientist Richard Dawkins.
