ARC-International, the Council for Global Equality, Human Rights Watch’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Rights Program, and the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission present:

“Religious Freedom” and Sexual Orientation: The Impact of US Evangelical Movements on Sexual Rights Advocacy Worldwide

Highlighting the recent example of the Ugandan bill that called for the death penalty for gay people, panelists will explore the political influence of certain religious movements on sexual rights advocacy and related policy at national and global levels.
