  The process of NGO-ization framed our struggle as one solely against patriarchy, without taking into account our specific context of being a colonized people, living the adverse consequences of Israel’s over 7 decade-long settler-colonial regime. We struggle to put an end to all kinds of physical, psychological, sexual and economic violence that women face on a daily basis. We are struggling as Palestinians based on our understanding of our reality within a colonial system. As such, we are trying to create solidarity that breaks the geographic, social and political fragmentation imposed on us by this system. We refuse for the struggle of Palestinian women for freedom to be postponed until after national liberation and with this in mind, this movement aims to redefine national liberation as comprehensive, holistic liberation for all.

  Notre régime repose sur trois piliers : le vol de terres accompagné de l’expulsion de ceux qui y vivent ; l’entretien d’une bande de gardes du corps sécurisant le pillage –« l’armée », dans notre argot local ; l’éradication des acquis sociaux, en même temps que l’effacement de tout principe de solidarité collective. Ce qui est étonnant, c’est qu’il y ait encore des gens pour faire mine d’être surpris en apprenant la réussite d’un nouveau vol à main armée, ce que le jargon officiel appelle « une déclaration de transfert de terres sous propriété d’Etat ». Les mêmes font mine d’être surpris à l’annonce que le ministère de la Défense aura la part du lion dans le prochain budget, au détriment de l’Education, qui va subir les coupes les plus importantes de son histoire.
