  The Taliban is a variant of Islamic fascism. We have argued at length elsewhere that a dominant feature of the current world crisis – like that of the 1930s – is the advance of fascism. We have defined this as a hyper-charging of the traditional right-wing cocktail of authoritarianism, nationalism, militarism, racism, misogyny, homophobia, etc, and its transformation into a mass political force that supports reaction and repression. This is a precise description of the Taliban.

  Plus de dix jours après les premières manifestations de camionneurs furieux de se voir réclamer une preuve de vaccination, le mouvement, noyauté par l’extrême droite, a paralysé le centre d’Ottawa et a essemé dans d’autres villes du pays. On ignore leurs motivations exactes. Probablement eux-mêmes ne le savent pas non plus. L’abandon du passeport vaccinal, le départ du gouvernement, l’indépendance des provinces de l’Ouest, le droit au port d’armes, le rétablissement de la liberté, enfin de leur liberté, le rêve d’une nouvelle Amérique où le petit blanc retrouverait son prestige d’antan. Le mouvement de protestation auquel on assiste ces jours-ci est comme un bouton de fièvre d’une maladie qui s’appellerait le trumpisme.

  Ukraine’s current troubles began with a U.S. regime change operation in 2014. The Barack Obama administration and NATO overthrew the elected president and sided with right wing neo-Nazi groups such as the Azov Battalion and the Right Sector. Of course destabilizing Russia was always the goal .

  A white supremacist and neo-fascist hate group, Patriot Front emerged as a rebrand of the neo-Nazi organization Vanguard America in the aftermath of the 2017 Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia. The Patriot Front “represents one of the most prominent white supremacist groups in the country”. “They provide them with a tribe, a simplistic view of the world and its problems, actionable solutions and a sense of purpose, and then they feed these vulnerable individuals a concoction of lies and an unrelenting narrative of political and social grievance.”
