Three Canadian Women set to join the Women’s Boat to Gaza

30 janvier 2019, par siawi3Les « gilets jaunes » qui se sont emparés des ronds-points habitent majoritairement le périurbain diffus. Nombre d’entre eux étaient des femmes, pour qui, derrière la lutte des classes pointe aussi une lutte des sexes. Fortement concernés par la politique du « tous propriétaire », les acteurs du mouvement des « gilets jaunes » offrent l’occasion de se pencher sur le soutien à la propriété qui discrètement nourrit des inégalités entre les femmes et les hommes.

EGYPT : Imam foils deadly attack against church on the eve of Coptic Christmas
3 February 2019, by siawi3The police found three explosive devices inside. Coptic Christians who were celebrating Christmas, were the target. Sheikh Saad Askar, the imam of the mosque opposite the church, was thus able to warn people at the church, urging them to leave. Visiting the church afterwards, Imam Askar said: “We have to stand by each other’s side and take care of each other. Those who target places of worship have no religion and are neither Muslim nor Christian”.

21 July 2016, by siawi3The Women’s Boat to Gaza, a project of the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, has acquired its first boat. Amal-Hope will set sail from Barcelona on September 14, carrying women who plan to challenge the illegal blockade of Gaza.
